PSYDEH’s sustainable growth in a hostile funding climate stems from innovative approaches to resource diversification and transformative partnerships.
Our success is built on shared-value focused alliances that can be transformational (multi-year, multi-faceted engagement), transactional (one+ years, singular engagement, often targeted professional services), or contributing (multi-year, software and services donations). This approach has yielded 20+ Fortune 500 partnerships valued at five-to-seven figures, including 3M, HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, Viasat, and Zoom.
Strategic Partnership Development
Our breakthrough came when GlobalGiving selected PSYDEH from 7000+ nonprofits as a top 10 organization committed to impact (2018), then chose us as the Americas representative for their Gates Foundation-funded Ethos (2019). This success created a cascading effect–other global organizations like Bank of America, Dentsu, Viasat and Zoom followed suit, recognizing PSYDEH’s unique capability to create win-win-win partnerships. *See below the full list with timeline.
Ecosystem Approach
Rather than isolated partnerships, we build formal and informal shared-value ecosystems where partners complement each other’s impact. Our digital inclusion and women-led economic empowerment programming exemplifies this approach:
- Foundation + Government: Irish & Mexican governments, German Lemonaid & ChariTea, USA GlobalGiving funding
- Infrastructure: Team4Tech, Viasat with Clear Blue Technologies solar and Honnold Foundation renewable energy powering Viasat satellite wireless
- Technology: Team4Tech and Viasat hardware powering satellite wireless and accessing Zoom conferencing, Slack communication, Google WorkSpace, and Adobe, Canva, Microsoft software
Example impact includes 8 remote digital resource centers connecting 1000s to the internet, a network of women-led cooperatives impacting their communities, and 200+ rural Indigenous women created 2022 policy declaration for Mexican government officials (English and Spanish)(updated in 2025).
Application to Ohio/US/Global Market
These frameworks for building transformative partnerships transfer directly to Northeast Ohio’s / USA/ global emerging opportunities in ESG, sustainable development, and cross-sector collaboration. The same principles that created seven-figure partnerships in Mexico can drive collective impact initiatives in Ohio and other US post-industrial economies.
This partnership approach—grounded in local needs and dignity, focused on shared value, designed for mutual benefit—represents the future of corporate social impact and community development. An industry-best example of a transformational partnership is our Viasat six interrelated stream alliance explained below and this 2025 LinkedIn post series–(1) why transformative, relationships behind tech, the future.
